Konstanz – the birthplace of an aviation pioneer

The university city of Konstanz is the location of one of Avitech’s engineering and product development centers and is located at the western end of Lake Bodensee in the south-west corner of Germany. Konstanz is the birthplace of Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin, constructor of the famous Zeppelin airships. In addition to one of the world’s best ranked universities, Konstanz, with a population of 80,000, is also home to a university of Applied Sciences, making the city a true center of knowledge in the border triangle with Switzerland and Austria.
